Ready to create a listing on the ModTod website? Use this tip sheet as your guide.
Listing is only available to members of the ModTod community. Signing up is free and fast. Once you’re signed in, you can start a listing from the Sellers Guide, or by selecting Vendor Dashboard under My Account.
2. Select Products in Your Vendor Dashboard.
All the products you list on ModTod will appear on this page where you can quickly see and edit product images, names, prices, and other details. To list your first product, select the blue Add New Product button at the top of your screen.
3. Add Photos.
Upload photographs to your media library. You’ll need to select one cover image and add as many secondary images as you like. Check out this seller guide article for advice on how to take clear photos for your ModTod listings. If you’re listing an item that Needs Love, include a detailed photo of the damage so your buyer can determine how to best re-love and upcycle the item.
4. Create a Name, Set Your Price.
Be descriptive when naming your item. Consider using this naming framework:
Framework: Brand ProductType, Color-Size
Example 1: OldNavy JeanJacket, Blue-5T
Example 2: AbercrombieKids T-Shirt, White-7
Example 3: Nike Sneakers, Grey-3
Once you’ve named your product, set your price. We recommend a minimum sale price of $5. You may choose to list one item at a time or bundle multiple pieces into one listing to create a set. Be sure to include clear photos – front and back – of each item included in a bundle to help set clear expectations with your buyers. You’ll earn 65% of every item you sell.
5. Add Product Categories.
We give you the option to select many product categories to make it easier for families to discover your listings when they shop. We encourage you to select a minimum of three product categories (and as many more as are relevant) from the drop-down menu. Here’s a quick look at the options:

6. Write A Description, Then Save
As with your listing name, we encourage you to be descriptive. You can write a narrative description or a succinct list per the example below. Whichever style you choose, the items in bold should always be included.
Example:
Title: OldNavy JeanJacket, Blue-5T
Description: Old Navy jean jacket size 5T. Worn by my son a few times for one spring season. The jacket is in pretty good condition and would look great on a boy (maybe over a t-shirt and jeans) or a girl (in jeans or a cute dress).
Category: Outerwear
Other categories to consider: Tops & Tees, Sweaters + Hoodies, Sleepwear, Shorts, Skirts, Onesies, Rompers, Dresses, Pants, Swimwear
Brand: Old Navy
Color: Blue and white
Condition: Good
Other conditions to consider: New with Tags, Like New, Good, Needs Love
Gender: Neutral
Size: 5T
