ModTod is looking for a technical co-founder to supervise and control the technical aspects of our digital marketplace for preloved fashion and footwear for families in Canada. The candidate selected for this job will become part of ModTod’s founding team.
The primary goal for the technical co-founder will be to drive the company’s technical development, including management of its e-commerce website and react native mobile application, and guide it towards long-term sustainability and success.
Technical Co-Founder Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the founding team to advance the organization’s goals, mission, and vision
- Set up technical systems, procedures, and policies to meet customer needs and ensure company success
- Lead further development/functionality and maintenance of the ModTod mobile app for iOS and Android and the e-commerce site
- Identify opportunities for growth, including new products and services to address unmet customer needs in the marketplace
- Evaluate new technologies and practices to determine the potential impact on the company’s operations and success
- Analyze challenges and collaboratively develop solutions that benefit the organization with founding team members
- Maintain a deep knowledge of the markets and industry of the company
Desired Skillset
- React Native developer who can handle cross platforms development
- Clear and collaborative communication style
- Nginx or Mongo Databases management
- An entrepreneurial mindset with organizational, analytical, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with project and team management platforms such as Asana, Zoom, Google Drive, Mailchimp
The candidate selected for this position will receive 5 percent equity in the company.
